5 KINK Review for Lovely by Elizabeth SaFleur, Book #1 in her Elite Doms of Washington Series

Amazon Kindle:
Amazon Paperback:
Amazon Audible:

What is it?  A happy ever after standalone erotic romance about one hot congressman and his young college student submissive.

Why should I spend my precious time reading it?   Where was I in January 2015 when this book hit the new release shelf? It has everything I can possible check off for a 5 KINK review:  Possessive, Billionaire, Alpha Male with BDSM elements and smoldering sex.  Throw in the powerful politicos in our nation’s capital, Washington D.C., its guaranteed to keep you up eagerly reading into the wee hours of the morning.

Lovely is pure elegance. It’s a first class BDSM romance with style and sophistication.  The sex scenes are steamy, explicit, erotic and tasteful.  Each chapter is better than the last. Christiana Snow meets the sexy congressman Jonathan Brond by accident.  He woos her with confidence and chivalry.  Immediately, he is taken with her innocence and beauty. I was blown away how quickly he could not imagine her with another man.  Of course, in typical alpha male style, his first desire is to offer her a summer of sexual awakening.  She willingly accepts and he quickly whisks her away to his secret lair for some pure unadulterated pleasure.  I can’t wait for you to read about his bedroom – his lovely room of pain (ha ha did you get it?)

The story was like a breath of fresh air and jaw-dropping sexy. It’s a combination of sexual heat and vulnerable innocence.  Elizabeth SaFleur created a delicious tale of a young woman exploring the dark edges of desire with spanking, canning and nipple clamps to name a few. For people who like erotic romance with heart, I recommend this series. It left me breathless and eager for more. I loved every luscious word of it.

Additionally, the audible was kindly gifted by author.  It was a seamless transition to read at home and plug in when I am driving my car doing errands.  This book was with me everywhere.  A great narrator that I thoroughly enjoyed. Just like the book it was an elegant and sexy narration.

The Rumors Are True: MR. PRESIDENT by Katy Evans is a Winner

Mr. President by Katy Evans

Release Date: October 31st
Genre: Contemporary Romance

Mr President by Katy Evans

Review: 5 KINKS

Source: Advanced Copy Kindly Gifted by Author/Publisher

With so much to say, where do I start first? Mr. President is wickedly delicious.  Reading this beautiful story is like someone pushing you off the cliff and saying “ahh, this feels wonderful” while plunging below.

This Super Tuesday 2016, you need to do 3 things:  Relax. Read. and Enjoy Mr. President by Katy Evans.  Relax with a favorite glass of wine and tune out the election results.  Instead enjoy a beautiful autumn evening with soft background music and the most romantic fairy tale romance of the year.

It’s toe-curling dreamy and guaranteed to make your insides melt.  I was bursting with happiness reading and jumping around like I had ants in my pants. It’s the anticipation of “will they or won’t they” that takes you on a breathtaking rollercoaster ride.

It’s the smoldering passion between Matt and Charlotte.  It’s the little things like brushing of the hands or shoulders when they pass each other. It’s the secretive moments alone and seductive stares across the room.    Mr. President barely scratches the surface of the whirlwind romance to continue next year.

Mr. President will forever be the “Must-Read Again” book to keep on your shelf and reach for each Presidential Election season.

He’s won the hearts of millions. But is he willing to lose his?

I met the president’s son when we were both young. Matthew Hamilton was handsome, polished, and intelligent. I’d never met a guy like him.

He promised me that he’d never run for president. I promised that if he did, I’d be by his side.

Three terms later, an invitation to join Matthew Hamilton’s campaign is the most exhilarating opportunity I’ve ever experienced. I’m determined to make a difference; he is determined to win.

Focused on his goal, Matt is steadfast, ruthless, and disarming. All eyes are on him and his popularity is surging. But soon, the next possible president of the United States is possessing me in more ways than one—and despite the risks, I’m helpless to resist.

We’re stealing touches, stealing moments, and stealing away at night. But our chemical connection is quickly becoming dangerously combustive, putting not only my heart, but Matt’s chance at the presidency on the line.

Winning will take everything. Walking away will be the hardest thing of all.

Secret Sins by CD Reiss
Release Date: September 18th, 2016
Genre: Contemporary Romance

Source: Audible Purchase From Amazon

Did I forget to say OMG! I read a teaser online stating “if you have not read a CD Reiss book yet, make Secret Sins the book to start” from this amazing author. I totally disagree with this!   Ok, let me explain myself before I get a book shoved at my head.   Buy this Book!  Place in on your “What Do I Read Next Shelf.”

Audio Review: Secret Sins by CD Reiss on Mile High KINK Book ClubNow, that’s done, right? Alright, let’s continue. Read all about the Drazens. Start from the beginning and introduce yourself properly.  It will take some time.  However, to feel the impact of Secret Sins it will be worth the sleepless nights and the inadequate respect you will have for many mornings to come.

Secret Sins will put you on a collision course guaranteed to shatter your core and everything you know.  This is Margie Drazen’s story. She is the oldest sibling in the Drazen family. CD Reiss is known for her unforgettable sex scenes and unique dirty talk.  This time around is all about the story of Margie and how she handles band mates Strat and Indy, not to mention her family. For a young woman still in high school she has a surprising sharpness of being “wise beyond her years.”

Secret Sins is told from Margie’s POV through the years 1982 and 1994.  This era before smartphones and social media shouldn’t be so sexy right?! Well, yeah it kinda is when CD Reiss is writing it.

I purchase the audio on release day.   Elena Wolfe, as narrator, can read a cookbook and I will be enthralled in the directions.  She has the right amount of sass and knew when to throw it at you.   I have been listening to it and teasing myself prolonging the inevitable.  All good things must come to end.  But did you have to do this to me Christine!  Where is the reset button?

I leave you with this:

16 minutes of my life has forever change. 16 shocking minutes have turn my world upside down.  I can only imagine what it has done to the Drazen Family.  I have replayed the secret over and over.  It feels staggering as the first time.  Rewind. Go Back.

The Drazens have been with me since 2013 per my Amazon purchase history.  I still have more books to read.  In the words of Sam and Dean from Supernatural:

“I have some work (reading) to do”

A brand new, edgy, sexy standalone from CD Reiss. Her name is Cinnamon. Cin for short. Band mates Strat and Indy don’t know anything about her except she’s smart as hell and sexy as heaven. They can’t agree who gets her, so they do the only thing two best friends could do. They declare her off limits to both of them.

Margie, AKA Cinnamon-you-can-call-me-Cin, has a thing or two to tell these guys. Nobody “gets” her. She’ll let them know which one she wants when she can decide between them. Until then, their little pledges and promises aren’t her problem. Her family is her problem. Her friends. And the world-famous blues rocker who has her cornered. He’s her problem too. This may be one problem she can’t fix without some help.

Secret Sins is a standalone novel with an HEA, an edge just where you need it, and a shocking twist at the end. It’s recommended for people over the age of 18 with an open mind and a love of super hot stories.

About the Author
CD Reiss is a USA Today and Amazon bestseller. She still has to chop wood and carry water, which was buried in the fine print. Her lawyer is working it out with God but in the meantime, if you call and she doesn’t pick up, she’s at the well, hauling buckets.

Born in New York City, she moved to Hollywood, California to get her master’s degree in screenwriting from USC. In case you want to know, that went nowhere, but it did give her a big enough ego to write novels.

Critics have dubbed the books “poetic,” “literary,” and “hauntingly atmospheric,” which is flattering enough for her to put it in a bio, but embarrassing enough for her not to tell her husband, or he might think she’s some sort of braggart who’s too good to chop a cord of wood.

If you meet her in person, you should call her Christine.

5 KINK Review

If you want dark, dirty and delicious, M. Never’s Decadent After Dark is your mecca! When I saw Jett was getting his story, I was all on it like a chocolate chip cookie monster.  We learn about the journey between Jett and London in a seductive and dangerous tale of dark yearning.  Jett is a hero to inspire amazing wicked dreams and London is the strongest female character who is not afraid and accepts the life she lives. After learning about her past, your heart will soar with her happy ending.

Whether you want to indulge in M/F/M or F/F, or a good ‘ole (insert spoiler here), Elicit will provide a boundless variety that will have you curling your toes and craving for more.

The best part of Jett’s story is the fact that you get to experience the before and after of Ellie with Kayne.   If this is the last of the Decadent After Dark series, I may be a little teary eye.

Elicit was amazing and delivered everything I want. It was an easy read and tailored to all the warm spots I expect to tingle when I read this series. Don’t miss Elicit. It’s filled with everything a dark erotica romance reader needs for a one-hand read.

I don’t know what’s happening.
I find myself doing things I can’t imagine doing. Feeling things that don’t make sense. Allowing him to control me in a way I find frightening and arousing at the same time.

Jonathan Drazen is going to be the ruination of me, and I think I’m going to enjoy every devastating minute.

CD Reiss has me hooked! This is a fiery page turner from start to finish. You will thoroughly enjoy the dual POV.  By now, I am totally invested in Jonathan Drazen. He is totally, undeniable swoon-worthy.  The more he aches for Monica the more I feel drawn to him.   It appears each book moving forward will start with a sizzling scene of D/s sex and foreplay.  Therefore, as the reader there will be no time for boredom and waiting for the spicy parts.  How can you anyway? The dialogue is spectacular!

Monica is consumed with Drazen and their sexual trysts in and out the bedroom. She accepts him and his need for kink. She slips easily in and out of the submissive role.  He is addicted with the best kinky sex and wants it more.

Jonathan’s ex-wife, Jessica, seems to be problematic.  She wants him back maybe?  However, Kevin, the ex-boyfriend seems to be the bigger issue.  Jonathan has managed to purchase drawings of Monica with disturbing images depicting acts of torture and abuse.  This makes him angry and vigilant to protect her even more when she believes Kevin is harmless.

He wants to protect and care for her. Although Monica calls Jonathan her KING, she feels ashamed when others question her relationship with him. Drazen’s sex life is not exactly personal and private.  His ex-wife was very vocal with the reasons behind their divorce.  Jonathan has been burden with the public’s perception he tried to rape and beat his wife during sex.

When she invokes her safe word “Tangerine” she is able to explain the reason behind her discontent and the huge mistake she created:  She wrote a song about her submissive relationship with him and played it for the public. In the end, her ambition is still utmost important.

You have a Hollywood story set in Hollywood-Land which keeps getting better and sexier. Can’t wait to see where the D/s relationship will take these two.  The cliffhanger will leave you breathless and eager for the next installment.

JAKE SHARP | Most Wanted Man

A simple assignment is only the beginning of something bigger. Socialite party girl, Camille Logan, daughter of business tycoon, Trevor Logan, has been receiving threatening letters. Her father decides to hire a bodyguard, highly recommended and respected as the best in the industry – Jake Sharp.

He is an ex-SAS sniper retired after being relieved of duty for personal and emotional reasons. Jake is haunted with memories and guilt. He seeks solace in drink, sex and work becoming highly paid and the best.

He initially was reluctant to take the assignment. He finds himself being resented and treated with disdain by Camille who profess she does not need 24/7 protection. Unbeknown to her, his task as shadow requires close proximity including living with her. Soon Jake becomes an integral part of her inner circle. As they begin to spend more time together, the lines of client and duty begins to blur.

After one night of unchecked passion and hot sex, he is very unhappy about becoming emotionally involved with a client and decides he need to cut ties and walk away. Yet, he finds himself becoming genuinely concern about her safety and chooses to stay and protect her from sources very close in her life.

The KINK Report: The Protector I AM NOT TO BE IGNORED

Reason No. #1: A man of unquestionable loyalty ✔

When I got the email I was approved for a Netgalley advanced copy of The Protector I screamed from the top of my lungs. Instead of jumping in and reading it quickly to devour it, I choose to stretch the time I wanted to spend with Jake Sharpe. He is one of those characters you can’t step away from once you have the Happy Ever After.

If there ever was a man that could be a hot mess and a sexy alpha together – that man would be Jake Sharp. Any man who can chivalrous pick you up in his arms and carry you like a child is always sexy.

Reason No #2: A true protective gentlemen ✔

A sexy 6’4’ pure male specimen wheeling a Heckler VP9 is automatically a true alpha male. However, when he fights an undeniable attraction, he becomes a weeping mess. If you are expecting more Jesse Ward alpha- ness, you will be disappointment. While Jesse Ward is over-the-top overprotective with no desire to back down from it, Jake Sharpe is overprotective because of duty. He can accept Camille being self-sufficient which he finds totally attractive about her.
The moment he acknowledges his true feelings, he is speechless and shocked. He instantly knows he is more than ready to take the next step with no questions ask. When Jake Sharpe loves, he loves hard.

Reason No #3: A man who wants to commit ✔

“You’re the missing piece I wasn’t looking for, angel. And now I’m scared of being incomplete again. I’m so scared of being without you”

The Protector is a sexy romantic suspense. Camille is in danger and she needs his protection. Jake will risk and fight everything to protect her – even his heart and secrets. The Protector proves how the power of love can heal even the deepest wounds.

Jodi is a must read author of mine. Her books leave you with an emotional attachment to lovable characters in kick-ass storylines. For me, it was a 4 star read until the last chapter. The final chapter broke me. My heart fell into a million pieces. I was left shattered with happiness and redemption for Jake.

You will surrender to this hot and steamy love story with a delicious dose of wicked love scenes. This will be one of those books that you will savor over and over.    Make room on your book boyfriend shelf for Jake Sharp.  He is the sexy hero you want to take into your arms, wrap him tightly and claim him as MINE.  He will feel right at home with Jesse and Miller.

Submit (Songs of Submission #3) by CD Reiss Book Review #SubmissionSunday

This is when I fall brazenly in love and lust with Jonathan Drazen. We finally have some insight about the billionaire’s true nature: He loves his KINK and he is a dominate.   We find out some of the reasons behind his divorce from Jessica. We have his POV on how and what he noticed first about Monica when fate spilled the drink in his lap at Hotel K. His desire for her compels him to accept he doesn’t want and love his ex-wife anymore. He cuts all ties with other women and choose to focus his objective of making Monica his submissive.

Suddenly, tragedy strikes. Who is there to help pick up the pieces? Jonathan. He lends a caring and kinky shoulder for support.  He is quickly becoming the devoted and dominate lover for the woman he believes is his goddess and does his best to make her happy, if she allows him.

Monica have three men in her life and they are all intersecting together. She is running away from Kevin, the artist, because she feared her desire to need him.  She doesn’t want to be sidetracked with her aspiring singing career.  Even though she hates the idea that Jonathan sees her as the perfect submissive, her body refuses to accept the idea she should cut her loses and stay away.

While she tries to deal with the notion of falling in love with Jonathan by refusing his calls she pushes him to be more forthcoming regarding his desire and what he wants: Her Submission.  Instead, she runs and focus her anger and need into song lyrics.

In Submit, the author has created a wicked and delicious tale of dominance and submission.  It is not a slow – burn sensual read.  It’s a blazing flame of fire from the beginning to end.   And I love reading ever titillating word of it.  The foreplay is sexy and steaming hot.   All the perfect ingredients for a panty-melting read.   The writing is graphic and detailed resulting in a book you will not want to put down.  To all the readers of this review, “you need this series”.

You’re mine. The minute I told you to spread your legs and you did it, you were mine. When I told you to beg for it and you did, you were mine. When you put your hands behind your back without being told, I owned you. You never had to say a word.

How can I tell him what he’s saying makes me want to run away, when at the same time, all I want to do is fold myself into him?

Tell Me A Truth blew the series out of the stratosphere with the perfect series finale. “Caleb’s been found.”  Who knew that phrase was going to bring so much grief, fear and anger.  The Story Series should have “bestseller” written all over it.

It answers the question: “What happen to Caleb?”.  The story is so razor-sharp intriguing and challenging, as a reader it will set your heart racing and aching.  In that one statement, Emma lost the perfect home and the perfect family.

Tamara Lush is a perfect storyteller.   It was challenging but it paid off with the best tear jerk ending and perfect execution.  She has created a sensual and erotic love story with an imaginative plot sure to please the reader.  She has a definite touch for grownup red-hot pleasure.

Caleb and Emma’s sexual attraction burns with the unfamiliar.  Caleb recognizes there is no danger worse than losing a woman who unknowingly creates and inflames his passion and desire.  Emma knows there is no peril greater than losing your soulmate before your very eyes.

Tell Me A Truth is the perfect read for hopeless romantics.   With an ending leaving you in tears of joy, love and heartwarming bliss, you have no other choice just to set the book aside, lay back in awe and savor the happiness it makes you feel.
