For a story that is meant to tackle domestic abuse, Part of Your World is surprisingly good at building a layered background for its characters, using their careers, aspirations, and relationships. I fell in love with the small-town magic of Kawan and its residents. Every secondary character was another reason to love the story more.

Part Of Your World starts slow but turns more exciting and funnier as it proceeds. It’s gut-wrenching at times, but weaves in moments of warmth, humor, and hope as well. It’s filled with sharp dialogue, hilarious comedic vignettes, brilliant secondary characters, and genuine heart. My favorite moment is the ring light. That scene alone is worth the read.
