I finished Private Property this weekend.  Ms.  Warren shows us that she can write a great contemporary billionaire romance as well as a dark and dangerous romance.

The story is driven by three characters:

Jane Mendoza,  nanny

Beau Rochester, Billionaire Playboy

Paige Rochester, his niece

19-year-old  Jane Mendoza grew up inside the foster system.  Her new job as nanny finds herself flying across the country to Maine working at The Coach House, Beau’s mansion perched on  the cliffside above the ocean.  It is extremely dangerous to walk around there.  Clue #1 I think!!!!   

Beau Rochester is not a nice man.  He has no desire or interest in parenting.  His solution is to outsource the responsibility. 

I took my time and enjoyed this story.  The secrets were stacking up and the puzzle was being weaved between the chapters.  And sex? There is plenty of delicious sex to keep the reader engaged and turning the pages.  

And the famous dinner party? My thoughts are very dark, and I think the behavior of the party guests is just the tip of the iceberg.  Clue #2 I think!!!!  Could Ms. Warren being dropping Easter eggs early I wonder?  Only 2 more books will tell…..

Private Property is a one-more-chapter-kind of-read.  And the cliffhanger will leave you gasping….
