The limits of forbidden desires are well tested in Trashy Foreplay. I am still waiting on the trashy part however. Suffering on the other hand, thats another story. How to make a remarkable love story out of a controversial experience while managing to cast a spell on the reader is pure golden.
I only read the first 4 lines of the book summary and decided “Yeah, I want this book.” The first 4 lines was the magic. I wanted to come to the book in a state of ignorance, with no advance knowledge of its content beyond these 4 sentences. I wanted my state of mind to be innocent and spoiler free.
Never flirt with temptation.
Never lust after what I can’t have.
And never, under any circumstances, screw a married man again.

By the time this story is told, I’ll have failed at all three…

We meet Julia Harley and Cash Montgomery. When Cash meets Jules, he suffers an undeniable sexual charge toward her. It’s starcross lovers passing in the night. Jules and “sexy stranger” shares a fantastic brief moment for a short period of time. Afterwards, they go their separate ways wishing to prolong the insta lust longer.  Cash has all the glamour of the anti-hero. My first impression of him was “oh no, thats so sad”. My first impression of Julia aka Jules is ” you made your bed, now deal with it.” I finish this story longing for her happiness. She’s intelligent, strong- willed, confident in her decisions and their consequences. She does not have one moment of playing the victim. Instead, she is open and honest about what she wants while acknowledging she can’t have what she wants. Her only crime is falling for the wrong person.  From the very beginning you will feel emotional. It will weave a magical potion on your heart’s desire. Ms. James has formed a plot that is very unforgiving. By the end of this story you may want to pronounce “well done” to her. She remains faithful to the material. The dialogue and the direction the storyline take is filled with dark forbidden desires, daily cravings and the ultimate culmination of mega hot sex that will melt your panties off. And with all this bubbling desire running your cup over boom – cliffhanger.  Trashy Foreplay is a hot and steamy read that will leave you electrified. Once you start you will not finish. It will definitely get you ready for Trashy Conquest, the next book.
