Former hot mess seeking dysfunctional relationship single, well-together male. Sanity preferable.
From now on, I’m going to do everything right. I’m going to make good choices. Say goodbye to the bad boys, narcissists, and emotionally unavailable men. Because starting today, I’m a girl on a mission.
Find a man to walk me down that aisle. It’s a good solid plan, but there’s only one tiny hiccup.
Adrian Daire.
Daire:
Lola Bell could easily bring an army of men to their knees… as long as she never opened her mouth.
She’s soft in too many ways. A people pleaser who goes the extra mile. Some might call her an easy target. In short, she has all of the qualities that I despise. But when it comes to me, she doesn’t hesitate to fling her poison arrows my way. She has every right to her feelings. Over the years, I’ve given her plenty of ammo.
Yeah, I hate Lola. But it doesn’t stop me from wanting her too. When she makes me a proposition I can’t refuse, there’s just one problem.
She tastes so f*cking sweet. So f*cking good.
So f*cking mine.
Whew!! This sexy book had me squirming while reading. If you like hot, steamy, need a cold shower books to read, this is the one! Tap Left is a top-notch read that offers more than just sizzle. Told in alternating POVs, at its core, it’s a story of a woman’s quest to find fulfillment.
Lola Bell is a struggling business owner looking for help in how to play the dating game. It’s her desire to marry that sets Lola in motion. She asks her frenemy Adrian Daire for help navigating the online dating scene through the app TAP LEFT. Daire goes along with it for 2 reasons:
1. Guilt because of his brother Ryan
2. He wants her for himself.
So, in Pgymalion-style he helps her to transform with a complete makeover including spa treatments, new clothes and the whole works. Spending so much time together becomes sketchy while their attraction becomes harder to ignore. I like Daire and Lola more when they are arguing and throwing insults back and forth like weapons of mass destruction.
The wall of “just friends” breaks down after another dating disaster. Pent-up longing they have spent years ignoring melts away into a hot and fiery eruption. Suddenly they are enjoying a no-strings affair all in the name of research for Lola and her dating app. When they hit the sheets look out because Lola is getting some of the best sexy tips from a master. Daire is so deliciously deceitful and seductively dirty.
Tap Left is a passionate illustration of friendship, second-chances and compassion in the midst of grief. It packs a powerful emotional punch with humor, angst, drama, lots of hot sex and well written character development you will not forget anytime soon. It leaves you with a satisfying ending where the twists will shock even the savviest romance reader. I certainly didn’t expect the ending to play out like it did.
In closing, A. Zavarelli has a new stalker. I look forward to reading more.
