THE RED New Release Review | Tiffany Reisz (@tiffanyreisz)

Mona Lisa St. James made a deathbed promise that she would do anything to save her mother’s art gallery. Unfortunately, not only is The Red painted red, but it’s in the red.

Just as she realizes she has no choice but to sell it, a mysterious man comes in after closing time and makes her an offer: He will save The Red if she agrees to submit to him for the period of one year.

The man is handsome, English, and terribly tempting…but surely her mother didn’t mean for Mona to sell herself to a stranger. Then again, she did promise to do anything to save The Red…

If you didn’t know, I am currently binge reading The Original Sinners series which introduced me to the Mistress of Erotica. As I was reading The Angel, Book #2 I had happy ants in my pants when The Red was mention. The Angel was written in 2012 about Nora Sutherlin, an erotica author with books such as The Red. What makes this unique was the fact I was currently reading The Red too. It’s pure genius to write a book about a fictional book mention in a book written in 2012 (did you follow that!) by this author.

The Red has redefined my take on the erotica genre. There  are several sexual acts I was embarrassed to read and thoroughly enjoyed.  It’s unlike anything I have read before. You may require supplemental reading material to comprehend the art history aka Google. However its a rare treat to experience such pure smut in an intelligent way. If you are left contemplating what you have read hours later, consider yourself lucky to have experience The Tiffany Reisz Experience.

What makes her writing so unique is its ability to treat and cure any bookworm’s hangover with fantastic filthy and intelligent sex. This book of sexual freedom is the perfect erotic escape from reality. Its a romance about love between the living and dead and how it transcends death. The conclusion is stunning but inevitable.
