5 KINK Review

For 100 Days is decadently delicious.  It may have taken a while for this sexy billionaire romance to make its way to my kindle, but I have found the next alpha billionaire since you know who! And trust me, I have been searching and searching for additions to my book shelf.

His name is Dominic Xavier Baine. Even his name feels like a thunder bolt to your heart.   Imagine what he does to Avery Ross and her body!

There are 3 major items that are guaranteed to twist my panties in total happiness:

  • Sexy cover …check.  I honestly believe anytime there are pearls on the cover of a book its guaranteed to be sexy.   It hasn’t failed me yet

  • New York City…. check. It’s the city that can make you or break you and keep you up all night.  Add some Park Avenue prime real estate, the ultimate bachelor penthouse, glamorous parties, and private jets to beaches and sun – you can’t ask for more. But keep surprising me.

  • The girl next door + best friend: Avery Ross, a struggling artist moved to NYC with only a dream and a blank canvas.  Her best friend Tasha is a breath of fresh air who knows what the perfect Girl Code is all about.   So, when you decide to swoop in with the sweetest gesture for her –  you got me! I am total yours.

This is my first Lara Adrian book. After researching her backlist, it appears this may be the first time throwing her heels into the billionaire romance trope. Well, let me tell you this:  those heels are killer sexy!   She has created an amazing world with Dominic and Avery.  There is no cookie cutter plot with the expected angst.  It’s unique and I can’t wait for you to discover it.  It’ a shame she has to wrap it up in 3 books.

I have been searching and searching for the next book boyfriend to leave a lasting impression.   You know the ones: where you own the paperbacks, eBooks and the audible versions.  Occasionally, on a slow Sunday afternoon, you decide to pick him up just to smile on the inside.  This is that book.

I have no doubt The 100 Series is the best kept secret you should be reading.      For those of you who are looking for your next Fifty Fix, look no further.  I know, I know – you have heard the phrase before!  Except this time, it’s the truth and I will bet the penthouse on it.

Though I love to be selfish and keep Nick  Baine to myself, this series is too good not to shout out – #oneclicknow or #get (get it lol?) There is no doubt it will gain its proper place among the best in the genre.  In closing, the last time I swoop in and purchase the next book of a series at 3am to keep reading was during “you know who”.  Hello sleepless nights.

Dominic Baine can have anyone, but the only woman he wants is her.

Struggling artist Avery Ross is barely scraping by. Bartending at a trendy New York City restaurant for an overbearing boss and two weeks away from losing her apartment to a condo developer, she’s desperate for a break. So when she’s offered a temporary housesitting job, she takes it.

Living at one of the poshest addresses in Manhattan is like entering a new world–one that catapults her into the orbit of billionaire Dominic Baine, the darkly handsome, arrogantly alpha resident of the building’s penthouse. What begins as a powerful attraction soon explodes into a white-hot passion neither can deny.

Yet as scorching as their need for each other is, Avery doesn’t expect Nick’s interest in her to last. Nor does she dare to dream that the desire she feels for this scarred, emotionally remote man could deepen into something real. For Avery has secrets of her own–and a past that could destroy her . . . and shatter everything she and Nick share.

FOR 100 DAYS is the first novel in a passionate new contemporary romance trilogy from New York Times and #1 international bestselling author Lara Adrian.  The next book  FOR 100 NIGHTS is currently available.
