It starts with a stolen kiss under an English sky, and it ends with a walk down the aisle. It starts with the President sending his best friend to woo me on his behalf, and it ends with my heart split in two. It starts with buried secrets and dangerous desires…and ends with the three of us bound together with a hateful love sharper than any barbed wire.

My name is Greer Galloway, and I serve at the pleasure of the President of the United States.

This is the story of an American Queen.

WOW! I held my breath for 6 hours!

I finished American Queen and the psychedelic trip I experience will remain for some time. I can breathe again. Oh oh oh, the side effects are staggering. You will find yourself experiencing anxiety, increase heart rate and  palpitations along with insomnia.  I was up past 4am reading and the euphoria was worth the sleepless night.

Sierra Simon’s writing is my illustrious drug of choice and I am totally addicted.   I remember the cover reveal and thought, what a gorgeous cover! I remember reading the synopsis and thought, oh my this is going to be good. It was not good.  It was better than I imagined. I once belived there was not a book in the universe to topple P R I E S T . I was so wrong. The last time I was left with a mood-altering drug induced state was Priest. Naturally, I replace one hangover with a new hangover all from the same dealer.

The more I read, the more my fixation was fueled. The secrets and lies are unveiled piece by piece like a puzzle. Each unveiling was hard to decode. As a reader, you are caught between a dangerous love triangle or maybe a forbidden ménage. You don’t really know.

The sex scenes are downright combustible, provocative, lewd and depraved. And that’s the good part!!!  But it’s more than just the one-hand read factor, it’s the dominance that President Maxen Ashley Colchester commands in the bedroom.  As “the most powerful man in the world”  the quote rings very true in the Lincoln Bedroom too.

“..he’s Ash and I’m Greer, and when we’re alone, I belong on my knees”

American Queen is a story about an unforgettable teenage girl name Greer Galloway who catches the eye of the future President of the United States. Because of the age difference, she remains a fixture in his heart even when he falls in love with someone else. This is a love story churn into a twisted triangle. Or is it? In the meantime, I am going to marinate on the mind-blowing cliffhanger!!!!

“I kept thinking about what I wanted to give you today for our wedding day, and honestly, Greer, there isn’t really anything I couldn’t give you. Jewelry or exotic vacations or rare editions of the books you love, anything I could have dreamed of, I could get for you—but they were just things. I didn’t want to get you a thing for a curio cabinet or a jewelry box. I wanted to give you something that you could carry with you through our new life together. Something that would make you a promise.”

The best man’s hand brushes up against my stocking-covered ankle and I gasp.
“What is it, princess?” Ash’s low voice comes over the phone line.
“Embry…I mean, Ash, I—” I can’t find the words just then, because Embry’s hand slides up my calf and everything stops. My thoughts, my feelings, my guilt—my world shrinks to Ash’s voice on the phone and the fingers moving past my knee and Embry’s face, so controlled. But lust and anger and determination are fissuring across that control, and I can see his wide pupils and the pulse pounding in his neck and the trembling of his lips.
What is happening? I think distantly to myself. What am I letting happen…and all while I’m on the phone with my soon-to-be husband?
