After finishing Claimed, I went to bed pondering how I can express my 2 cents and give it the justice it deserves for the reader and my excitement for the author. I love this series. Freaking Flove it. Here goes and I hope you enjoy it as much as I had fun writing my review.

Some books stay with you for days, weeks and even months. Some books go into a special category of Must Read Again and Again. The Decadence After Dark series is one of those books. M Never definitely knows how to pen smoking hot, panty-melting stories filled with mind-blowing, dirty talking sex.

You have to step away from your KINDLE. You have to kindly lay it down, go change your panties, pour a drink (not some pink concoction bullshit either) grab a cigarette, pick up the Kindle again and say “Ok, where were we!”

So here we go:

The Bromance between Jett and Kayne

Kayne needs to thank his lucky ass he has a JETT in his life. This guy is awesome from infinity to beyond. (get it? He he) We all need a Jett in our life.

“For fuck’s sake, you read women like tarot cards, and you can’t tell if she wants to see me or not?”
“I think she does. I also think she’s scared.”
“Of what?”
“Oh, I don’t know, maybe you slapping a collar on her and locking her in a dark room?’
“This isn’t fucking funny.” I can’t stop myself from smirking. “I did love her in that collar, though.”

This man is totally devastated. He is just a sad excuse! But your heart can’t help but break for him. He’s drinking excessively, not showering, and totally lost without his Ellie.

“I would lie, cheat, steal, kill to keep you happy, Ellie. I would kill for you”

It’s been over a year and now he knows what life is like without Ellie. He is willing to walk away from the lifestyle of KINK IS KING. He wants her back in whatever capacity, with or without the Master/Slave relationship. Lucky for him, Ellie doesn’t take to the Vanilla anymore. Good luck to her in trying to convince him of that little knowledge.

Honestly, I wanted this to be reason 1, 2 and 3. But, from fear of being judged, I need to at least pretend I read romance because of the great storylines.
