It’s been over a year since we saw Anastasia walk out on Christian.   If you are like me, the anxiety and anticipation is making my inner goddess do cartwheels and head spins.

We live in a world with books , and those books  require readers with Kindles and iPads.  Who’s going to do it? You?  I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Anna, and you curse the Red Room of Pain.  You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know –

that Christian’s safe word, while disturbing, probably enhances sexual pleasure (who are we kidding!)  and my existence as a romance book blogger, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, promote those authors and their works.

You don’t want the truth because deep down in places you don’t talk about at churches or workplaces, you want me to read that ARC –  you need me to read that new release

We use words like “erotica,” “submissive,” “dominate.” We use these words as the backbone of a life spent reading one more chapter.  You use them as a punch line. 

I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a someone who rises and sleeps under the promos and reviews I provide and then questions the way I provide it.

I would rather you just said “thank you” and went on your merry way.   Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a book like Fifty Shades Darker and read it.   Either way, I don’t give a DAMN what you think you’re entitled to!

The movie trailers promise even more sexy  scenes to help give Valentine’s Day a kinky and darker edge.  We cannot wait.  To say we are on pins and needles doesn’t begin to describe the eagerness.
