Irresistibly Undeniably is a story that will leave you feeling good. And it makes you anxious to read the previous books about Cami and the 69 Bottles crew. While the previous standalones may be a bit spicier with D/s and ménage elements, this story appears to be less risqué. However, it does not lack the heat and erotic spice in the sex scenes department.
When Ireland’s childhood friend reenters her life, determined to win her back, she long to discover why he left while wanting to rekindle the love she briefly had and lost in the same day. As a reader I did not get the full picture why Dyson’s family move away. This bit of information may have proven useful why Dyson wanted forgiveness from leaving all those years ago. Why he drop his last name? At one point in the story, I thought his family was in a witness protection program. All this information remains a mystery.
The emotional depth Dyson demonstrated toward Ireland ranged from sad to suspenseful. One moment we have a sizzling romance only to lead to a surprising twist. The plot of the story swiftly moved from rekindling an old flame to a much deeper anguish. Ireland made me crazy with “running away” and “needing some time”. We have a man who truly loves her, wants her forgiveness and shows so much realism with heartwarming tenderness. Don’t miss this sweet and romantic story about the power of family, friendships and second chances.
