Alessandra Torre is officially one of my automatic Pre-Order Click authors. When this book pop up on my kindle at 4am, I immediately started reading.
I am a huge baseball fan. I mean HUGE baseball fan and a sports romance fanatic. Add these two together and it’s a Grand Slam in my universe. I was reading this story so fast, I told myself to slow down and savor the slow burn. So I put it away. A few days later I picked it up again, because the mystery and anticipation was eating at me.
We have the world most famous bat girl Ty Rollins falling in love with Mr. October Chase Stern. Their initial introduction was awesome; especially for a 17-year-old girl. Priceless I tell you!
I love my romance with heat, erotica and a little bit of taboo sometimes. This time around I thoroughly enjoy Moonshot because it really is a contemporary read with suspense. I usually shy away from those because I want my sexy times to be scorching hot and erotic.
However, the sexy times in Moonshot is scorching hot in sensuality and passion. A love affair between a known manwhore and the Yankee’s sweetheart batgirl is beautiful to read. This proves every manwhore can choose to be tamed for the right girl.
Circumstances happen and life doesn’t go according to the young lovers’ plan. Ty and Chase’s relationship will go through many twists and turns. Throw in a murder mystery tied to the Yankees ball club and we have a scandalous curse on our hands.
So, get ready, grab a seat, some hot dogs, beer and peanuts to prepare yourself for the 7th inning stretch. A thrilling read waits for your reader pleasure.
Moonshot is smart and surprising. My adrenaline was pulsing so much I had to step away from reading at the sudden big reveal. The writing and the plot set up will leave you stunned!
