It is well crafted and surprising. It comes complete with a great plot with enough twists and turns to keep you guessing.
The hero, Conner Sparks, a trained assassin with the CIA, is hot, dangerous and capable of protecting the woman he loves from both friend and foe.
The bad guys, the Russian Mob, wants to kill Lara Armstrong, a political blogger with a reach as high as The White House. Lara is no shrinking violet either. She is busy taking names and kicking butt too. Albeit its done with a scandalously post in her tabloid rag.
This is an addictive and nerve-biting read. I must admit, if there was a romance that could create the adrenaline pumping through your body, it’s this book! It comes complete with a great plot and excellent writing. The authors have a great knack for piling on the tension and keeping you on the edge of your kindle.
The story moves nonstop, making it intensely engaging as well as unnerving. It has everything a must-read should have: mystery, betrayal, romance, and action/adventure. It’s an intense yet romantic read and I can’t wait for the next one!
