As co-owner of a BDSM club, the Onyx Room, meet Master Nathan and his slave Bianca. I am reading Book #3 out of order. It can be read as a standalone; however, it is recommended to read the series in order.
I am conflicted with this review. I love a MASTER/slave relationship in the bedroom, however to live it 24/7 is somewhat hard to get comfortable with. This element of the relationship I did not like at times.
Nathan loves Bianca. It shines through the story perfectly and I am able to walk away with a positive review. Bianca is a product of abuse and have given herself over to Nathan, as lover and master.
Nathan has learned to help keep Bianca’s nightmares and depression away by reinforcing her need for dominate Master/slave scenes. It’s great to see she can be just “Bianca” when she chooses and Nathan is able to accommodate her wishes. She has endured so much abuse in her past, I’m happy she can function in a relationship. It’s obvious he loves her and wants to ensure her mental well-being.
In closing, I love the happy ever after. I am also thrilled to see Nathan and Bianca can tweak their relationship as needed. As a BDSM themed romance, the sex is very hot and dirty. If you are not comfortable with the 24/7 lifestyle of a Master/slave paradigm, you have been warned.

Bianca requires aftercare as much as she needs the sting of the pain. I clean her wounds, and apply a liberal amount of Neosporin ointment and let the wounds breathe. I then cover her up with the thin blanket and sit on the bed beside her. “Slave.” Her eyes flicker open. “Here you go.” I unscrew the water bottle and hold it to her lips. She automatically reaches out so she can take the bottle, but I lightly smack her hand away. “I’ll take care of you.” Bianca smiles, then puts her lips to the bottle as I tip it so she can drink.“Thank you, Master,” she dreamily says before placing her head on the pillow and falling into sleep.
Walking away from the bed and to the opposite side of the playroom, I take my phone out of my pocket and call Matthew.
“Hey,” he says when he answers.
“Hey, I’m supposed to do an inventory check today but Bianca is starting to fall. We’ve just had a mini scene, but she’s out of it. Can you go in and start it, and I’ll be there in a few hours. I need to make sure she’s okay.”
“She alright?”
“Not great, but I’m hoping this time I can get to her before her mind fucks her over.”

“Yeah, I’m taking Ella to see Debra her OBGYN, check the baby and make sure everything’s alright, then we can head in and start on it.”
